The mission of The Affrilachian Memory Plays is to engage in scholarly and artistic activism for the region of Appalachia. Our performance pieces celebrate, educate and entertain diverse community audiences through culturally -relevant programming that highlights the archived, historical and present day experiences of African Americans in Appalachia.
