The Boulder Fringe provides a platform for artists to showcase their artwork often in non-traditional spaces. During the annual 12-day performance art festival, The Affrilachian Memory Plays collaborated with Appalachian Dance Artist and Educator Kelley Ann Walsh, presenting Where I'm From the Mountains are Red, White and Yellow.

HOUSTON, TX-- Shabach Enterprise's groundbreaking play festival, Fade To Black, returned for its 6th season of short plays. Fade To Black is Houston's first and only play festival to showcase the new works of African-American playwrights! Affrilachian memory Play, Tobacco Fields, by Yunina Barbour-Payne was selected as winner of the 2018 Fade to Black Play Festival and presented at the Match Theater in Houston, TX.

excerpts of the one woman show, Precious Memories was first presented at Virginia Polytechnic Institute in the summer of 2010. An extended version of the show was produced at Northern Kentucky University in the Department of Theater and Dance in May of 2012.

A Staged Reading of Tobacco Fields was presented at the Appalachian Studies Association Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio.
